Guide participants through the art of making authentic homemade pasta and creamy risotto from scratch, focusing on technique and flavour.
Key Focus Areas:
Preparing and kneading fresh pasta dough (Tortellini, ravioli and Fettuccini)
Rolling and shaping pasta using traditional methods
Cooking perfect risotto with proper rice selection (Arborio, Carnaroli)
Creating flavourful broths and incorporating ingredients like vegetables, seafood, or meats
Techniques for achieving the ideal creamy texture and al dente pasta
Pairing pasta and risotto with complementary sauces and toppings
Outcome:
Participants will gain practical skills to make fresh pasta and risotto at home, elevating their Italian cooking repertoire.
